Save Recipes to Bear

Clip any recipe from a photo or the web and save it to Bear — beautifully formatted, ad-free, and ready to cook.

Choose from two easy methods:

Method 1: Recipes from the Web

Share anywebpage containing a recipe to Utensil, then export it to Bear.

Clip Recipe to Utensil

Open a recipe in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose Utensil

Export to Bear

Utensil clips the recipe, allowing you to view and edit it, and then lets you export to Bear

Done!

The recipe in Bear... clean, nicely formatted, and tagged

Method 2: Recipes from Photos

Within Utensil, snap a photo of a recipe, then export itnto Bear.

This sample Shortcut uses Utensil’s Clip Recipe action and Bear’s Create Note action. One tap from your browser’s Share Sheet sends a clean, tagged, and well-formatted recipe directly to Bear.
